Mama of the Month Laura Candeau
Welcome Blessed Mama's:
February is the month that we all celebrate LOVE, and what better way than to introduce you all to our mama of the month with the biggest passion for Cakes, Travel, and her son Bryan Jose...
This blessed mama is known for their Miami Famous Bakery, which is a family owned business attending to many celebrities and elite clientele. She was born and raised in Cuba, came to this country at 7 years old. Her parents started their renowned business back in 1996 (they worked for 4 years from home) and short after created their cake empire which opened doors to the Miami public in 2000. Divine Delicacies, is the family business and our mama of the month is their store manager and social media mogul. With their hard-work and dedication, they are blessed enough to travel the world and enjoy the little things in life.
Somehow, she helps run her family business, is a devoted wife, is a mom, and plans her travel bucket list and has time for everything she enjoys in life. Personally, I know her thru our sons, and definitely have to say "hands-down" best kids party host EVER! Every mom likes to have nice parties for their kiddos, but truly her son's birthday parties are one of a kind!

Therefore, let me introduce you all to my friend and blessed mama of the month,
Laura Candeau...
Laura Candeau...
- how was your pregnancy? Did you have any cravings?
- Laura replied "Thankfully my pregnancy was a bliss, had a great pregnancy. Being said, I was able to travel until I was 7 months pregnant. At the end of my pregnancy I was able to travel for my baby-moon to Dubai and Maldives. We created the best experiences possible, and in regards to cravings, I tended to go for salty stuff such as pizza and pasta. I did not have much sugar cravings. Overall, amazing pregnancy without a doubt."
- what do you like most about motherhood?
- Motherhood has transformed me in many ways, I could not imagine my life without my baby boy Bryan. He has forced me to pay attention to the little happiness I once ignored, the little things in life like a plane flight by. Additionally, the best part about motherhood and being a mom in my opinion is that with young children every moment is a new adventure. I love seeing their eyes light up with every new discovery. Is important to note, that I love how my son Bryan is basically teaching me (to become the best version of myself). As a mom, I learned that I and we all need to become more patient, kinder, gentler, sweeter, and more rational than we generally would on our own. In simple words, He brings out the best in me.
- do you ever feel like you can't handle it anymore?
- Thankfully, I have my mom that helps me. Having her, it allows us as a couple to have date nights and more time for ourselves (my husband and I have date nights at least once a week). I am thankful for her!
- did you have a "push present"? Did you know about push presents before or you found out afterwards?
- To be honest my husband, and I do not believe in the myth of "push presents" so I mentioned I rather have a very nice Babymoon which we did. We traveled to Dubai and Maldives...now that's a push present ;)
- do you believe in vaccination? If not, any specific reason or someone that recommended not to?
- When it comes to vaccinations, we have done some research. I personally, have allowed Bryan to obtain all needed expect the MMR. There is lots of controversy on this subject, so I decided to wait on it. We will probably give it to him but once he's older.
- what advice would you give to another mom?
- Well, since I am all about travel, cake, and creating memories... I would say "TAKE THE TRIP" when you question whether or not to go on the vacation, just do it!!! Spend the money, and take the time. Obviously, you only have a certain amount of years together as a family before your kids get busy with lives of their own. Also, the best part of it all, building memories and having new experiences together are the things you will never regret.
- do you think preschool or taking care of babies (old school/at home) is best? What age would you put him in school?
- We had our Bryan at home until he turned 2 years old. Actually, next week he starts school (half days from 8-12pm) to start him off. Can't wait to see him on his first day of school. I will cry for sure.
- would you choose public/private?
- I am not opposed to any of the above, personal preference I would say. In the other hand, for me I would choose private school. Specially with the day today and so much happening in schools.
- would you want more babies?
- Jose and I would like to, everything in God's timing.
