Welcome Blessed Mama's:
I would like to share a bit about my personal story, and how this blog will become a platform for many to share their pain and victory.
There's nothing impossible if we decide to trust God with our deepest petitions.
Here's my testimony...
I was engaged twice prior to my marriage. I was in a 12yr relationship with my "high school sweetheart". Afterwards, went to college and upon return I was engaged shortly after heartbroken and with little to look forward to (on the love department). Thereafter, I decided to stop looking, and seek God with all my heart. I didn't go out much, and just worked, gathered with family, and go to church. I recall the night, I felt that I needed to pray for my future husband....and I did for almost 1 year (every night). One day, my friend Laurene asked me to give love another try, and long story short. I met my husband. I recall the hesitation on my part, and just praying for things to be smooth if it was our timing. Well, I had envisioned my own reality. He proposed in Paris on June 5th, 2015 and on October 10th, 2015 we married at our church. The love received from our family and friends was extraordinary and I was truly able to feel God's grace and love for me. I can say, it was a fairy-tale story. I prayed for a solid marriage, and a loving family. I come from divorced parents so I want my son to grow up with a truly loving family. The Lord, has answered my prayers. Nothing is perfect, we are two imperfect person so we grow and keep growing. But one thing is certain, if you are young or a single mom, or someone that has known lost and defeat...please know that there is a GOD that will hear your prayers, and that in His time, He will answer them according to His will.
I am sharing my testimony to advocate hope, and inspire others to keep believing, keep praying, and keep loving... you shall see the fruits in due time.
I am hoping to create a community where a blog post feels like a best friend, like your support system, and a space for motivation.
I am thankful for the opportunity to educate our readers, share, and motivate you all so you can devote more time to what truly matters in life: the people you LOVE.
I am a girl in love with Jesus, and the message of the gospel which is to spread LOVE not religion. I aim to do just that in each post.
*I dedicate this post to my husband, the true love of my life.
Thank you for loving me the way you do, for accepting me for who I am (flaws and all), and gifting me the blessing of motherhood, and for taking me to Paris ;) I am not luck....I am BLESSED.
So GRATEFUL for 2018, and HOPEFUL for 2019.
God bless you all
xo,
Blessed Mama-Gley.
